Why call an adult "baby"?

After pride cometh the fall. And, when we fall, we fall hard. And it’s not necessarily falling in love. It’s more like breaking bones. Do you believe in romantic love?

Yes I do. Mine that I am used to is probably the tragic version though.

Calling someone who is an adult a baby is basically telling them that you’ll take care of them as if they are a baby… pretty bizarre… especially considering the overt sexual connotation.

Babies cry and get mothered… that’s more or less what is happening…

Babe… lol that’s another one. Sounds to me like a newborn cow or something along those lines…

It’s part of a lot of people’s character… but I feel it’s a very shallow and underthought choice of words.

I don’t know i kind of think if you’re not looking for a partner, to each other stand by, that is shallow but that is just the way i grew up.

Sure, I grew up thinking marriage was the only way, but when I think of how unhappy my parents were and how they played on each other’s weaknesses to keep them from “escaping” each other, I wished there were another way.
