In my opinion, Ali would win easily.
And I’m glad they don’t have (ear eating contests.)
Ali’s long reach and great jab would keep Tyson outside, and if Tyson tried to force his way in, Ali would either dance away or tie him up. The crowd would boo because they’d want to see Ali go toe-to-toe with Tyson, but Ali was not stupid.
Also, keep in mind that fights were 15 rounds when Ali fought, not 12. Ali’s jabs to the head and body would have Tyson on queer street by the 12th round. Ali wins by TKO or KO somewhere between the 12th and 15th round.
I mostly agree with that assessment if you read my first post. I was just sharing what one of today’s heavyweights stated.
This ted talk made me start to disapprove of boxing. Also the lennox lewis interview on the joe rogan podcast, where the group mentioned the negative effects boxing has on fighters’ brains over the long run.
Very very very eye opening.
