I hear it helps with negative symptoms and that’s what’s bugging me the most lately. I’m on zyprexa now at a pretty low dose. No side effects but I still have random episodes of psychosis (we upped the dosage a bit and so far it’s helping with that.) So I’m afraid to try a new drug because so far zyprexa works and it keeps my weight up a bit (I’m under weight so it’s very helpful) but I’m so interested in a drug that might make me more motivated
It’s pure and utter shyte
What was your experience with it?
Yeah I didn’t have a positive experience with Vraylar as well.
It made me way over stimulated and it didn’t work on my positive symptoms, I became delusional while taking it.
But remember, everyone is different.
Sounds like my experience with geodon. So I know how scary it can be. I’m not even sure my pdoc would do the switch due to how much success we are having with zyprexa. But my negative and cognitive symptoms are terrible
Your psychiatrist may want to add a low dose of Vraylar to your Zyprexa to help with the Negative Symptoms.
This is a consideration also @SchizoBoy
I never thought of that. It’s something to consider. Maybe lower my zyprexa and add low vraylar
Yes, you got it
Vraylar helped me get more motivated
