Don’t waste money on a gaming laptop, buy a normal computer (or build one yourself) with a good CPU and GPU and you’ll save much money and have better performance.

My laptop, but someone else’s pic. It’s a samsung gaming laptop. Core i7, radeon graphics card, blu ray disk, an ssd alongside the other internal drive.
It cost nearly as much as my used car and I would never sell my computer (my car, maybe).
I bought it mostly for editing videos, though. I don’t have too much concentration to play video games except short games like online competitive pool. Been meaning to get back into a few video games, though, like Deus Ex and Dishonored.
It was a big investment, but I think it’s holding up, had it since like 2013 or 2014 and it still works like a big powerhorse! 
Now I’m broke again.
