This monthā€™s diagnosis is now Psychotic Depressionā€¦but was diagnosed SZA depressive type for 20 years soā€¦who knows!

Iā€™m currently dxed with schizophrenia episodic type. Iā€™m not in full agreement with the dx which seems to be based on how things currently are combined with the ASD as a contributing factor.

Iā€™m very much against diagnosis that doesnā€™t factor in the effect of medication. Being in a fairly stable mood state because of a regular depot, doesnā€™t mean I was always like that.

However sz when it should be sz-a is a marked improvement on having a pd dx that was highly nonsensical. Not that I dismiss having a pd. Itā€™s just that the one that actually made sense, avoidant pd, was never considered.
