There’s a few around who migrated from the old site. Not so many as there used to be there but that is life. I’d like to think many moved on with their lives and are doing well. Some not so well.

It was a different format and a lot different. The internet was wild back then. Less moderation. Lots of drama but there were good people. There was a sense of community much like this one but it could be brutal too which wasn’t so cool.

Trolls, not as closely moderated, and it would crash about every month or month and half and you would not be able to use it for up to a week.

I first posted on schizophrenia.com c1998. For ages over 95% of my posts were in the news section. I made very few personal posts. That changed when we moved to this version of the forum software.

1998 or 1999. Pretty sure it was 1998 as I don’t believe I was dating my wife yet. I can’t remember most of my old screen names. I know I’ve used at last two versions of forum software before this one. Both were funky and unstable.

I’ve been here since Feb 2017. I made a new account (this one) after I found out my folks were reading my posts on here. So certainly not the longest tenured member here, but I’ve seen A LOT of posters come and go
