- 2017 Version
- Both

Ive not seen the newer version just the old 1990 one with tim curry as pennywise. I thought it was pretty good but enjoyed the book a lot more… the books are always better than the movies imo.
I’ve watched both and prefer the 2017 version.
I may like the newer one more, but I liked them both. The new one is closer to the book from what I remember.
I read the book and watched the old film. Liked the book better, of course.
I’m not into the horror genre, so I’ll have to pass on answering this.
the newest version of “it” began in the second sequel nothing like the book so I didn’t finish it…hated the opening scene.
I’m not fond of alien spider clowns.
This is like comparing the first nightmare on elm street 1984 to the 2010 one… i just think the first ones are always better
Oh the first one in 2017 was ok but the newest one when they are adults sucked reaaaallllly bad
What I didn’t like about the original is that the clown was wayyyy too goofy. I read the book, and the newer penny wise was perfect.
I thought the whole body of work is dumb but the old one was experienced by me as a kid birn 84 so 6 or 8 years old just scared nit knowing whats going on. Thats better
You didn’t like the book?
I didnt read the whole book. King’s writing is not English literature.
I can’t believe someone doesn’t like this book! Lol
What didn’t you like about it?
Cant remember. I thumbed through it at one point maybe read 5 pages.
Trust me, it gets better
