Maybe I should get.off my mind trip about the MasterCard vs Visa debit card. I really haven’t had a problem with Bank B’s Visa card. It just another bank with the Visa card declined my PayPal transactions. Bank B always has accepted the PayPal transactions.
I just checked. Bank B does business in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma. Maybe that’s not too big. My psych clinic uses Bank B, and I guess I’m trying to convince myself to switch to them completely. Visa debit cards really bug me though.
I’m not happy because there’s no benches at the bus stop, they declined a mobile deposit I tried to make and said I would have to come to the branch. They also don’t have online transfers to other banks, and want to do wire transfers where you have to go to the branch again.
I like them because they are small and only do business in Arkansas, they issue MasterCard debit cards, free checks that are pretty and a nice paper statement, but I’m wanting to go to electronic statements now and skip the paper ones
You seem hyper focused on your bank posts. We can’t give you the best advise on which bank to use. It all depends on your many needs and what each bank offers.
I’m beginning to think the American banking system is f*cked up based on this thread.
Here in Canada I have 8 bank accounts with 3 different banks. The best Visa and Mastercards available. A line of credit I can borrow from at will without needing approval first or signing any forms. And I can transfer money between all of these accounts. I also have US dollar accounts and can convert USD <-> CAD at will.
All 3 banks have apps that let me do all this. And websites too.
