It can cost around 40 or 50 dollars for one 20 pack in australia. Which i think is maybe like 30 to 40 amercan dollars. Its insane! Theres a huge black market for illegal cigarettes in australia because of it.

To be fair the cigarettes in developing nations are probably horrible. They’re cheap for a reason. Probably a lower grade tobacco.

Personally I think smoking taxes are justified. It’s one of the leading causes of preventable death and illness and is a drain on the medical system. Putting some of the tax money back into health care to provide the inevitable doctor visits smoking is going to cause is fair to me.

I make my own. It’s way cheaper. It can be messy though. I smoke as much as I want for around $60 a month. I have an electronic cigarette injector that makes a cigarette in less than 2 seconds. I buy pipe tobacco and tubes for it. It’s not popular, but I cannot afford smoking otherwise. When I’m lazy or out and about, I sometimes buy American Spirits. Buying cigarettes gives me headaches and is different. I like what I do. I don’t expect people to follow what I do and change their habits.
