Some people really empathize and care. Try to seek those people out. Some of them work in the system, and some don’t.

Thankfully a new generation is becoming more educated about mental illness and there’s a new generation going to school to become social workers, pdocs, and other types of mental health aides.

I know it’s tough though.

Yeah saw a pdoc and I’m on meds. Can see pdocs in emergencies. But difficult to get seen regular basis routine.

@Here4You, this community has very strict rules on maintaining anonymity. Perhaps, living in a large city, the concerns of people living in much smaller communities aren’t immediately understandable to you. Perhaps you’ve never been threatened online or had any other reason to be wary about revealing personal information.

There is nothing wrong with a community solely because people are cautious about revealing their precise location. There is something wrong, however, with reacting in a hostile or insulting manner to someone because of that caution.
