When should i take olanzapine 5mg?

Im sort of thinking about taking it mid day as i get too hungry at night and it keeps me awake. Also does anyone else take this amount and what time do you take it?

I take my 6mg risperidone right before sleep 11pm. I used to take it during the day, it made me extremely tired and I slept all day.

I take my olanzapine (20 mg) right before bed.

8pm is my sweet spot. i take 15mg and usually dont feel tired till around 11pm as the olanzapine takes a few hours for sedation to take effect for me. never take it in the morning lol the day will be slept away. i tried taking it in morning and i slept the whole day and woke up at night and still felt tired, took it at normal time at night then slept until the next evening

I take my olanzapine right before bed. I take 30 mg. I take the ones you put under your tongue to dissolve.

all antipsychotics should be taken at night as it cause sedation. in some cases you take it in the morning as well when it have short half life or you have severe symptoms which requires multiple dosages.and in your case you should take olanzapine at night.

I take my Olanzapine at 4pm. I find this to be the best time, as it allows for the dosage to peak and reduce while I am sleeping from 10pm onwards. This method seems to be the best way to reduce fatigue in the early morning when I have to get up for work. Also sedation from 6pm onwards is not really that much of an issue as I am generally relaxing during the end part of the day.
