When it comes to my hallucinations

I know that my mind sometimes changes phenomena in simple ways (“easy-to-hallucinate” phenomena), like the background chatter in a restaurant scene in a reality TV show changing to people talking about what I’m doing. But the people in my support network claim that I hallucinate in more complex ways, e.g.: entire videos changing. I haven’t noticed things that were definitely hallucinations that were that complex since being diagnosed 15 years ago. Could I be hallucinating these “hard-to-hallucinate” phenomena? Thank you.

I have running commentary today.

And yes, background noise turns into words and chatter.

It’s freaking annoying.

Yes, it is. Makes it difficult to watch TV.

I hate commercials. They are the worst.

I find that it helps if I meditate before watching TV.

It doesn’t work as well if I’m already hallucinating and then try to meditate.

There is nothing in this. But because of Sz you are relating to it to yourself. It’s a symptom of schizophrenia.

I’m not sure what you mean.
