Whats your relationship with coffee?

For me, one cup helps me tolerate abilify

We’re just friends with benefits.

I have at least 4 cups if not more everyday.
I try not to drink coffee past 4 pm, but sometimes I do anyway :coffee:
It keeps me awake from the Risperdal and Klonopin

I love coffee, but only with sugar in it!! I drink about 2 coffees a day, it’s not good to drink more, as it can increase the positive symptoms!

I am brewing a pot right now even though I just finished a pot of coffee this morning. bored I guess.

Yeah that’s something I’ve gotten under control. Used to spend 10$ a day up until a few days ago. Now I’ll only drink it at home.
Had a half pot this morning that is probably what I’ll limit it to.

It was my go to for killing boredom but I think it’ll be better for my mind to not have as much.

i limit it these days because it causes me anxiety but I actually just had a big cup. usually its decaf these days but it was 3/4 caffeineted this time. i like it but the anxiety is killer.

My relationship with coffee?

Committed.
Delicious!

I can drink it right before bed and not have any trouble sleeping,
and many times in the morning, I’ll wake up, make a cup, drink it down, then go back to sleep.

I drink coffee on the days I go to day treatment. The caffeine usually gets me going in the mornings because I’m not a morning person. I don’t drink coffee outside of day treatment. I don’t know why but I don’t.

I am having a long term relationship with folgers. I drink 2-3 large thermos cups a day. I add a tablespoon of sugar and hazelnut creamer, i can drink it and go right to sleep. I find it helps me relax, although i am sure there are plenty of people who would disagree with me. I use coffee as a food substitute, although not intentionally, its just that if i have that extra cup at lunch time, i am not in the mood for food.

I have to drink decaf or it causes symptoms,

coffee…i am dribbling from the side of my mouth…!?!
take care :alien:

I’ve drank ten cups a day for forty years. I went through a period where the first thing I did when I woke up in the morning was drink a pot of coffee and take 40 mini-thins. (Ephedrine) I used to get a buzz off of coffee, but I’ve drank so much of it that I don’t really feel it any more. I think my addiction to caffeine is now psychological. I’ve gotten to the point where I just take caffeine pills instead of drinking coffee. It is cheaper and easier. I take two 200 mg pills a day.

Speeds up my thoughts enough to appreciate myself though I know I shouldn’t be so reliant on one drug to feel ‘normal’ that’s some drug addict territory but not really it’s coffee right? I do need less of it since I switched from Risperidone to Invega good switch a lot less side effects for me at least but for me I don’t like the main effect so I guess I’ll never be happy unless I’m off these meds idk

Coffee used to put me to sleep!
I was house sitting for my sister several years ago and she said I could eat some of her food but not the expensive stuff. I was looking through her refrigerator and there was a pitcher of some milky liquid. I was curious so I tasted it. It tasted great!! It was sweet and rich so I drank some more. I thought, 'Wow, a milkshake"!! And I downed the whole pitcher which was about a quart or more. Yum.
She got home a few days later and I was talking to her on the phone and she asked me, "Hey what happen to all my vanilla creamer?!!!

I heard somewhere that if coffee or any other stimulants relax you you might have adhd maybe some insight idk you probably heard that before.

2 first thing - no more in the day except sometimes

I’m two timing with Tea, herbal tea, veg juice

A pot a day keeps the abilify induced fatigue away.

I love my coffee break at noon - gotta have it or else I am moody for the rest of the day! I have a second cup about 5pm as well, but switch to a cup of tea at night with meds. In the early morning I drink Milo.

Committed relationship. <3
