It was originally done as a way to cement your place in God’s Covenant, and since the advent of Christ, it no longer needs to be done. However, medically, it’s a lot healthier to get it done. And it is up to the parents, whether the circumcision happens, as it should be. Parents own the children as long as they remain innocent and unaware.

There’s no medical reason for it. As long as men clean it, there’s really no issues. We did not circumcise our boys. Our religion is pro circumcision but there’s no explanation to do it other than that it’s biblical. But there are also lots of parts to the Bible that make no sense.

I think it should be a choice that men can make later in life. Like how some religions will only allow people to become true members after an “age of consent”. I think female circumcision is atrocious, as it isn’t even akin to removing a foreskin as much as it is to removing an entire penis.

its not too bad except for that when i was like 10 and experimenting i somehow tore the skin along the seam and like every time i got an erection it would hurt and half of my peen had white meat showing where the tear was. i never told my parents i just wrapped it in toilet paper and duct tape and it eventually healed

Glad my parents said no even with dad having it done.
It’s barbaric and the " Health " reasons are bulldust. Just teach your men to wash properly and no problems for most. Yes. Like everything there’s always something that can go wrong but like honestly there’s no medical benefit. No partner I’ve had has had any difference on weather cut or not.

The foreskin protects the head from bacteria and stuff, something like that

its crazy to me that some people dont know how to wash their junk lol. every day i shower every part of my body gets washed from head to toe

Im circumcised. I don’t mind at all. Women have tended to say they prefer it to me even not knowing whether i am or not. In Australia, it was commonplace for anyone to have it done as an infant. These days its not common apparently. And even though I’m not Jewish, i think its cool that the practice was for them a bodily sign that they were in the old covenant with God.
A mate of mine had to get circumcised when he was about 18 years old because it wouldnt pull back so he couldnt pee at all. He said he much preferred it afterwards compared to when he still had a foreskin.
I have heard the health benefits. But apparently they are very miniscule unless your extremely unhygienic.

I really don’t care personally. But I think it’s kind of cruel to do that to a baby who has no choice. Especially when female “alterations” are called genital mutilation and are literally illegal in many places.
I think it should be like ear piercings. Wait until the kid is old enough to decide themself.
