Being on Abilify helped cause my diabetes. Diabetes caused my balanitis. Balinitis is an inflammation of the foreskin and penis. It’s painful. It’s no fun. Creams and ointments don’t work. Circumcision is the definitive treatment. My doctor says I’ll be walking like a cowboy for a week. Ladies try not to laugh too loudly. Truth is I’m scared a little bit. It’s going down in the next few months. Don’t know exactly when just yet buts it’s going to be done. Yikes!

Mate. I’m sure you’ll be fine. Sure does sound like a painful thing! I’ve split the skin there a couple of times and it’s not much fun! Lots of nerve endings but I’m sure the docs are all over it!

This is a good procedure, after which the risk of contracting sexually transmitted diseases decreases. Do not worry, nobody died of this cosmetic surgery, the main thing is to hold out until everything heals

I read somewhere long ago (maybe an old wives tale) that you lose sensitivity in the end of the penis as its more exposed to air around the glans. Some article posted that some porn stars have it done so they last longer whilst bonking. But i honestly wouldnt worry about it - my twin brother had it done cos he couldnt retract his foreskin enough to wash it. And as far as i know - his sexual performance remained the same.

@Naarai my urologist says it will.allow the yeast / bacteria infection to dry out and desist with feeling the result.

I was circumcised in later childhood. You will probably not wear pants or underwear while you heal up and your skin gets a bit more durable.
I was fairly young so I don’t know how it effects masturbation or sex but I assume you’ll be fine after healing a bit.
I understand diabetes can impede healing so do take care of yourself as you heal.

Yeah my brother had similar - for want of a better word he had a “stinky dick” - he got a yeast infection under the foreskin, so had it chopped off. Me personally had a vasectomy couple years ago, so can appreciate the pain and discomfort. With a dry glans not lubricated with the foreskin does make it less sensitive tho. At least your be able to bonk longer! lol
