About $3000 for a car.
I paid $3,500 for this 1973 Cougar XR7 Convertible. I bought in in 1990 when I was 24 years old.
Oh boy , it was a chick magnet alright!

I paid £21,000 for a 2019 Toyota Corolla Hybrid
Borrowed most of the money.
Luckily after I quit my job I got much of it back and paid the loan off.

I bought my aged care certificate for about $2000.
I saved up for it and it took me a couple years to complete.
That’s the most expensive thing I bought myself.
I was working back then and I’m on pension now.
