What thing you bought has lasted the longest?

For me, it’s a black raincoat I bought in '05. I was only 16, now I’m 29 and I still wear it every summer.
It has no holes, though it does have a few spots from paint and it’s missing a zipper thingie.
I spent almost no money on it, and it was definitely a great purchase.

Hopefully you don’t run in those. Running shoes are only good for about a year or you will get shin splints.

No,I couldn’t run, because of my hip problems and later surgery.I wear it still for walking.:slightly_smiling_face:.Off course,I wash them regularly.

My toaster oven and Vizio HDTV have lasted a good long time. Usually stuff breaks around here.

My weather radio. I got it about 20-30 years ago and it still works well.

Our TV. We bought it 11 years ago and despite the actions of five children, it is still running strong. It’s a miracle.

My 2002 Toyota Corolla. I got it May 26, 2005, on my birthday, and it’s still running today.

Mostly just books that I’ve bought many years ago. Many are in perfect condition. One is an Arden Shakespeare book with all the plays and poems in one. It’s still looking beautiful.

I have three 1970 Mustang convertibles. They are as old as I am. I was born in 1970. Only one of them is currently roadworthy and insured though.

The other two are in storage. They were both running when I parked them. I need to pull them out and tinker with them but on one of them I can’t get the doors to open. Will probably have to cut the top to get in that one.
