What's your job? :)

Currently I’m unemployed, looking for a job. What about you? :3

I have been selected for a new job as a supply chain analyst. That used to be my profession long before I was diagnosed now it’s time to rewrite my history. Have been unemployed since January 2013

You can’t work because you’re diagnosed?

Awww congratulation!!!

Thank you! I am both excited and nervous.

I mean I will be joining soon, the later sentence was to indicate I have been at home since January now.

I’ve been at my part-time janitor job for 3 1/2 years. I’ve had numerous jobs since 1983.

I was trained to be a lawyer but I couldn’t handle such a stressful job so I became an artist. Then the business side of being an artist became too stressful, so now I’m a homemaker.

Funny thing is, I have a housekeeper, and even this homemaker thing is becoming too stressful for me! I don’t even have any kids! Me = lame ass! Lol.

Sorry I’ve misunderstood XD that’s not my mother tongue, my mistake XD

This morning at the doughnut shop :doughnut: the supervisor said

“could you grab a leaf and lawn bag. Go on the roof and take off any leaves”. :maple_leaf: :fallen_leaf:

After that was done she had me walk around the building putting leaves in a bag. :maple_leaf: :fallen_leaf:

I never want to see any more :maple_leaf: :fallen_leaf: again. :anguished:

Being on the roof was scary. :scream_cat:

You’ve been there quite awhile, BakedBeans. How long?

I have been there for 3 years. Found out last week my job will be coming to an end soon. :crying_cat_face:

Lost my temper a month ago and started banging a spatula against the wall in the kitchen. The Department Of Vocational Rehabilition was informed about that incident. Now they want to pull me out of the :doughnut: shop.

Lose your job just for that?? Jeez!

That sucks, everybody has bad moments. I was constantly freaked out at every job I had. I was the crazy guy, but I guess they didn’t care because I was a nice guy and just trying my best. Sorry you’re losing your job.

Just wondering if you meant to post this in the FAMILY section and not the DIAGNOSED section?

Isn’t there something you could do to keep your job? Talk to someone? Bring up the fact that you’ve been a good employee for three years but you just lost your temper one time? Ask them what you can do to keep your job? Maybe get your boss to talk to the Department of Rehabilitation and put in a good word for you? Or a fellow employee who could vouch for you? Tell them you were going through a really rough time and you lost your temper? Promise it won’t happen again? Tell them you learned your lesson and it won’t happen again?

Starting to think it’s professional juror with the amount of times I’ve been called up for jury duty… Currently on disability but thinking of starting work again soon.
