When I was growing up my grandparents had a board game called Careers. It’s been out of print since the late 70’s early 80’s, I started playing at age 4 in 1989. It’s been so long, but I gotta say my favorite board game ever. Papa played it with me, and explained the choices to make your “career” and stuff, it was a real world game, I think it was his way of telling me there’s many ways to do life, here are some instances. I miss my Papa, RIP.

Robo Rally is probably my favorite. Or Empire Builder. If it weren’t for the meds ruining my ability to think and figure I would say Twilight Imperium.

I played Careers as a kid in the 70’s.
Really fun. I’m sorry you lost your dad. I miss mine too.

I really like Settlers From Catan.
I have the base game as well as some expansions, and I even play it online sometimes using tabletop simulator.
