What's your experience of trying Sarcosine?

My negatives are really bad at the moment. So I am thinking of trying Sarcosine one more time. And would like to know what’s your experience with Sarcosine.

By the way, Reishi Mushroom caused me bad sleep and fatigue. I have stopped taking it.

Now I have read some old sarcosine threads. I found that among those who had tried sarcosine most of them said it was not a miracle pill. So I now reduced my expectations on it.

Don’t give up hoping for better days even minor improvements can better your life so much.

i don’t get why threads like this get posted… there’s a search button for a reason…

I think it’s beneficial, but unsure if it affects sleep negatively, so I’m not using it until my sleep improves.

Maybe someone has something new to say or a different opinion. Reocurring topics happen all the time here.

I personally wouldn’t take sarcosine due to it’s interelation with cancer

I do feel that it gave me an improvement, its just, an improvement though, the core problems don’t go away. As well, because it can sometimes be expensive, you have to weigh how much that improvement means to you.

My testimony to this will cost you some money you see to let the public know it’s a very fragile thing the way this medicine works is it sweats out you’re impurities from your brain leaving your receptors free to work more freely if you can live with the late night sweats off your head at night then go for it but as far as a medicine I would take daily never does this work as a cure I would say yes and no it may help with some negative symptoms and some positive symptoms when in actuality it probably increases your medicine that you take for your illness due to the fact that there’s same receptors that have been misfiring for years like I said my testimony will cost you money and the fact that the knowledge that I give you now is truthful

This is scary. Where did you get this information from?

I agree. Just let me see how much improvement it gives me.

There is a research paper on it, you can google it up pretty easy

I discussed it with my pdoc and she said there was little research about sarcosine and that it was old.

She recommended me to not try it, so I didn’t.

I googled for “sarcosine and cancer”, and found this:

"Sarcosine is being investigated for its connection to prostate cancer. It may be a biomarker for prostate cancer, which means that if sarcosine levels in the blood are higher than normal, it could be an indicator of prostate cancer. This doesn’t mean that sarcosine itself causes cancer. "

“It is unknown at this time if sarcosine supplementation is harmful. It may act as a co-carcinogen, meaning it doesn’t cause cancer, but increases the effects of other cancer-causing compounds.”

To be honest with a lot of supplements it is unknown if they are harmful.

They don’t know whether it can cause cancer or it just promotes it once the grow is established.

The risk has to be worth the reward and personal to me the evidence for the use of sarcosine doesn’t warrant the risk.

There are other alternatives i.e. glycine & TMG even though they are closely structurally related.
