What's your budget for the month?

Right now I have one credit card for $59, one for $25 one for $10 and one for $35 and water which it’s only my second month but it’s been about $40 (drinking water) The rest of my money I’ve just been sending to credit card companies to pay down my balances. This month I spent way more than I paid though because I did Wayfair. But usually I make headway. Next month I’ll start paying rent of $271. I will be paying off two of the credit cards. My monthly bills will be: rent $271 discover $59 wells fargo $25 water $40 for a total of $395. I spend about $400 on food and household items. That leaves me over $400 to save for a down on my new apartment and stuff I need and pay towards credit card debt. I just have to cut out the unnecessary spending and stick to the budget and I’ll have a ton of money to buy all the things I want to buy.

What is your budget like?

I live with other people and we split the expenses, but this is our shared budget: 700Euros rent, 130 Euros utilities, 4 euros a day per person for cigarettes, 9 Euros food budget per day, 8 Euros beverage budget per day.

I don’t have many bills. Internet: $30
Phone: $70 rent: $560 gas: about a hundred. Food: about $225. Miscellaneous: varies, could be a hundred or more sometmes. Entertainment: $100.

I’ve been doing real good with money for the past year. I have no debt and I’ve managed to keep a couple thousand in my checking account most of the time to spend on what I want. Which is usually just eating out or buying some inexpensive things that I feel I just have to have, lol. Could be anything from something for the apartment to some gadget for my car.

I have no income, so no budget to speak of. Currently living with my bf, his mom, his stepdad (who his mom his divorcing), two housemates, and another friend of the family that I went to school with who may as well also live here now. They split all of the expenses (bf included when he can find odd jobs).

I am living off my parents. No budget but they only give me the necessary like buying a 150$ cellphone or a gaming PC. My disability money goes directly into their account to pay rent, food, electricity, etc

I get $800 a month. I split it up as follows:

$300 to groceries for the month
$150 for the phone bill
$150 to savings (which of course I have to be careful about because you can’t have too much in a disability account at any given time)
$200 for other necessities/emergency expenses
