How do you describe a person being crazy?
Crazy good, or crazy ugly?
I just wanted to say we are not crazy and i strongly believe this
Sometimes we are crazy, I speak for myself of course.
Then you don’t know what crazy is…
Oh, I’m pretty sure I do.
Sometimes I really believe the alternative thought that says so-called “crazy” people see the truth and therefore have reasonable, not “crazy” reactions to that truth… And, that our mind’s ability to escape from our lives by creating alternative realities is not so much “crazy” as brilliant.
However, the desire to remain living, to stop self-harm, and to be a functional individual who is able to find some happiness and purpose on this planet is important to me and my less productive, “crazy” times aren’t actually helpful.
So I guess I define “crazy” as a break from reality enough to disrupt purpose, function and happiness.
Crazy people are way way much more worse than us. They are violent, they kill, they have no judgement etc etc and so on lol. So we are not like them. What do you say, do you agree?
I stand by u @anon51414962…!!!
Maybe superficial crazy? Like: today i feel sick i don’t know why or if i am sick but that’s how i feel
crazy=schizophrenia
In AA they say their definition of insanity is “doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results”. I apply that to my medications. Every time I have gotten off my medications it has been a disaster.
People mean different things with that word.
In one context ot means fun, or entertaining.
In another context it means doubtful or completely irrational.
A third may say violent and or unpredictable.
I agree with this.
In our country the term crazy is so praised… You know what I am talking about… “Remember what popescu did last year? He’s so crazy…”
Crazy to me means that someone has lost touch with reality.
That they’re unable to see the irrationality of their actions.
I don’t equate mental illness with crazy. I reserve the crazy for people who act like antisocial assholes.
