For me it’s the movie The Beach. I think the idea is good, and the movie started out good, but it’s not executed that well.
Indiana Jones and the dial of destiny.
The phantom menace ![]()
Seriously? The second trilogy was a big part of my (and a lot of people) youth, alongside with lotr and harry potter
Yes, seriously lol.
The Ralph Bakshi animated Lord of the Rings (it was only half of the story).
It chapter two the first time I watched it. I loved chapter one and was super hyped when I heard they were making it. The mini series from the 90s is burned into my psyche from when I was a kid. I did end up having a better time with chapter 2 the next time I watched it though.
Watchmen, I loved the graphic novel and wanted to like the movie but it was a mess.
Most over-hyped and disappointing movie ive seen - independence day.
I thought it was better than the big budget version of lotr. Pity it was never completed.
Honestly, yes. So well done.
I never saw the importance of the fight club…that and killer gore movies…why ??
The Banshees of Inisherin
I was very disappointed
What a stupid movie!
It was a clever take on DID. Realizing that Tyler and The Narrator are the same person is one of those OOOOHHHHH moments and you wind up watching it ten more times to see what you missed. It also had a profound cultural impact.
Further to the above:
Dumb and Dumber Too. I didn’t see the whole movie but from watching clips of it on YouTube I wouldn’t want to watch the whole thing.
I think it’s called blue velvet. It’s got that hot guy in it. From the notebook. The movie just dragged on.
Citizen Kane was the most disappointing movie I’ve ever seen. Everybody said how great it was and me and my sis watched and were just bored out of our minds. I’d rather watch files on my computer load for 3 hours.
This is why we preferred the 2nd trilogy
revenge of the sith was my fave!
Id have to go with a beautiful mind. Thought it would be good but parcher freaked me the heck out. Something about parcher combined with erie music.
