What would you have done?

Not to be depressing…But what do you think you would have done if you never got psychosis? I’m just reminiscing… I think I would have eventually joined peace corps…

I would have stayed in California instead of moving home where my parents are.

Yeah I feel you on that…

I’d have become a veterinarian. It was my calling before I got sick. I wanted to work at a zoo with some cool, different animals.

I would be trying to get on with Cal Trans. It’s the state run agency that keeps California freeways clean and also takes care of the landscaping.

My dad did it in the early 70’s to support our family during a recession.

It would have been good pay for a 19 year old or a single person in their twenties

I actually tested for the job just like about a couple months before I broke down and got sick. If I would have got hired I would have done it for a few years and got a nice car and then tried to get something better. Or I
would have worked there for a couple years then go back to school.

I think I would have been worse off , possibly even dead.

I was dealt a bad hand in life even when you take schizophrenia out of the equation.

Schizophrenia might actually have saved me.

I feel the same way. Only thing I would’ve done differently is never starting up with the weed smoking. Suffered lots more because of it.

I think if I were mentally healthy I’d be working a corporate gig, maybe in finance.

Sorry to hear you struggle with drawing and writing☹️ I also struggle with drawing nowadays but it’s cause nothing creative comes to mind anymore…

I would move to Vermont and open a coffee, tea, hot coco, chocolate, apple cider, beer, wine, pastry, hard drinks type of cafe, all fancy and gourmet — with a sitting area for reading :slightly_smiling_face:

I would marry a knockout and have 5 sons as well
