What kind of thing do you want to do? Would you like to work with people or have something quieter?
maybe work witrh the mentally ill…also a religious organistaion might give me some peace
If you’re volnuteering you might as well do something you think you’d enjoy.
I’m looking into some voluntary work at the moment too.
Good luck. I hope you find something that suits you!
Janitoring.
Anything you want to do! As long as you are up to the task, why limit yourself?
One of the volunteering opportunities I do is volunteer at the volunteer centre processing applications for volunteers and scheduling posts on social media.
I unloaded trucks when I was in my mid-thirties. I was a park ranger for two years in my forties. I’ve stocked shelves, I’ve washed dishes, cooked, cleaned hot tubs. I’ve worked in warehouses, moved furniture, recycled materials. I’ve been at my current janitor job for 5 years and it’s the easiest job I’ve ever had. The people I work with are OK, I get to work by myself most of the time, it pays relatively decent and has other positive things to it.
hey @77nick77…I would have thought you might have worked with the mentally ill considering yo uhave the insight…do you not even do it part time or voluntarily, work with the mentally ill

Or just work as a janitor.

Visiting the elderly. Making and answering phone calls. Leading groups. Running an outreach website. Socializing on the web.
