I loved Hide and seek when i was very young but then we played code and Kerby as well as football, i liked games like hit ad run, dodgeball, darts, water tag, we never played board games at home but i had a maze thing i could play myself,
electronic games were later from about 15 we played tekken, GTA, and Gran turismo, earlier computer games were sonic and mario, i liked time cop as well.
now i play games at the brain training group, we have a chess board and dominoes, checkers, scrabble and others
I was an only child, so most of my games involved my imagination.
I would often take my mothers cauldron, Mortar & Pestle, random kitchen spices, and make my own potions. Iād also love looking through her spell books.
No candles though, I was never allowed to have any in my room. (Smart decision on my mums part, or else I probably would have burned the house down)
Monopoly. My childhood friend and I would write our own additions and new rules to it and spend our afternoons playing it.
Risk when I got older, and thatās still one of my favourites, although nobody I know ever wants to play it now.
As a young adult/student me and my friends played Settlers of Catan endlessly.
When my son was a toddler I bought the childrens version of Monopoly and Catan for him.
Now he is a bit older we also play 30 seconds junior and Stratego.
But the game I love most now for myself is a game for adults called Dixit - itās a very different kind of game, that needs imagination and empathy. I suck at it, but itās a beautiful game.
I love playing Monopoly. I donāt know why but i generally always win at this game. Another game that i enjoyed was Payday. I used to be quite good at that as well. Hide and seek was always fun as a child.
