I worked for an Amazon competitor back in 2004. Amazon have obviously won that battle since. I worked in their IT (computer) section for about 6 months.
I was well paid and I got on with everyone and did a great job there.

The best times of my life job wise is when I worked for a bank in their computer programming department from 02/1985 to 02/1990. I did a good job and got along well with others. Age wise I was 25 to 30 years old.
For me the best job I ever had was playing in a musical trio. We would play at weddings, parties, all sorts of celebrations. It was a lot of fun.
From 2000 to 2003 i worked for a company that makes food packaging. I worked in one of the warehouses the first two years and moved to an eight color printing press in the press department the last year i was there. Excellent pay and benefits.
I became a pilot and had a flying job every day from 1995 to 2008.
Good full-time jobs have never worked out for me. I always fail at them, but I’ve had two fun part-time jobs.
One is my teaching job that I currently have. I started there eight years ago. I really enjoy it, and it’s intellectual, gives me a good mental workout.
The other was June 2001 to May 2002. It was my last year of undergrad and the summer before that academic year. It was a funky variety store. It had three large floors. The third floor was all porn and sex toys, the second floor was used books (non-pornographic - we even had a children’s section), and the first floor had all kinds of stuff. Used CDs, video games and movies. Novelty lighting, posters, stickers, aromatherapy stuff, fountains, some non-Christian religious stuff, among other things. The mezzanine of the first floor had a head shop. It was the perfect job for a stoner college student. Hell, being a stoner was practically a job requirement .

Worked for Barnes and Noble when I lived in New Orleans. Loved working with books. It’s just so nice if you like or have liked reading! Loved working in the bookstore!
I worked as a home manager for three homes with people who have intellectual and some physical disabilities. It was rewarding and it paid well. Ì got along well with my staff.
After I left they kept calling trying to get me to come back. Ì was way to sick by that point.
My favorite job was probably being in the military.
I had a very laid back, administrative job.
And I worked with some awesome people. We had a lot of fun at times.
A long time ago I worked in the ice cream section of a restaurant. I made all sorts of ice cream dishes, and I hate ice cream so I never ate any of it. Weirdly it was one of the most relaxing jobs I ever had.
I unloaded trucks for Wal-Mart 4 pm to 1 am shift. Physical work, we kept a radio on nearby for music, got to drive a forklift a little bit and did a lot of lifting. Only made 10 something an hour but I never spent much of what I made, I was just working to have something to do. This was between high school and college for a couple of years. This was back in 2003-2005
My favorite job ever, and the job I want to go back to eventually, is managing group homes for adults with developmental disabilities. It was so much fun and I was really good at my job until I lost my mind.
My best paying gig was as a network manager at a Fortune 500. The job I loved most was working as a saucier in a busy kitchen. Honorable mention to driving a fuel truck: Big ass set of wheels and working by myself (win-win).
Yes, I have a rather varied resume.
My best job is the one i’ve got now. I work as a clinical nurse in an aged care facility, and i manage the high care section. Believe me, it is hard work on my behalf to keep working sometimes, but i feel that i benefit from working - keeps me functional, gives me challenges, forces me to think and problem solve.
It’s what I do now. I am an analyst so I just listen to music and play around with data. It’s a nice job as I can just get on with it, and not have to deal with people very much. It has it’s issues, but I like my job I couldn’t live without it now.
I hate not working as things just fall apart and I get in a bit of a state. I need routine.
Business analyst jobs in Singapore and Brussels. Lots of freedom, Well paid, do not have to deal with people.
My best job is my current one. I work in a maternity unit, helping mum’s look after their babies. I want to be a midwife.
The best job i ever had was being a music teacher. It’s been almost five years since i’ve worked there.
It wasn’t about as the job as much but because it was during the best summer of my life. I had just turned 19. I did shipping/warehouse inventory for some company I had no idea what they were doing other than they paid me every second Friday. It was just good times in my life.
