What was your favorite job that you worked at? My favorite job that I worked at was bagging groceries.
I used to work in a group home for adults with developmental disabilities and it was so much fun. I mean, there were literal shitty parts about the job, but overall it was a blast. I can’t physically do that anymore so I went into management at the homes and that was a lot of paperwork, so not as much fun. But when I’m able to work again that’s what I want to go back to.
I delivered pizza in the nice part of San Diego. The sunsets were beautiful. The free pizza was even better.
Delivering business auto parts. Got to use a souped up truck and it was fun, I was young. Delivered business cards later, but in my own car. But that was fun too because I liked the people who worked there at the print shop.
I really like my current job as a graduate assistant, but it can be super stressful sometimes depending on how many classes my boss is teaching and if she’s using new textbooks and stuff. ;-;
I really loved working at daycare.
I felt like I was somewhat good at it, and it was never boring. It was refreshing to see the smiles on the kids’ faces every day, and there was enough structure int he day for it to be manageable for me, but enough variation for me not to be bored.
I used to work as a child supervisor as well.
I have so much fun playing with kids, they’re not jaded mean adults yet so it’s nice to see their imaginations and thoughts in my opinion
My favorite job was working at this expensive carpeting store. Paid a little bit above minimum wage, had a flexible schedule and the people I worked with were very friendly. Some good times.
I liked teaching computer science in college. Easiest job ever…
I used to run the spare parts department for an industrial printing machine supplier. I was also the branch secretery. I loved that job!
my favorite job was my 3 years working on a golf course. at times there can be some labor but mostly it’s playing with equipment. personally, I learned to drive a manual transmission and spent some time on a tractor
I had to set the course everyday, change hole locations and tee locations. the hours were good like 6am-2pm and we had the winter’s off. pay wasn’t great but its ok for a sz.
I’m planning on applying for the same job at the local casinos with golf courses, maybe ill end up with more pay at a casino then a private club. anyways I could definitely see myself being a seasonal worker for 30 years
Combat helicopter pilot was pretty satisfying. Would really get your adrenaline running but it’s generally not good being shot at. Thankfully I was never shot but I had friends who weren’t so lucky.
Flying in combat is the only time I have ever gotten an adrenaline rush. Nothing else I have done has ever given me one. It was like I was hyper aware of everything going on around me.
My favorite job is what I am doing now. I sell Avon door to door. I like it because I am my own boss. And how much money I make is up to me. And I get to meet and talk to a lot of women. All platonic of course.
