Every morning I have a coctail of my meds and vitamins and supplements, in addition to meds I have Omega-3, vitamin B, vitamin C, magnesium, multivitamins, vitamin D, I have my coctail typically with orange juice.
Vitamins and supplements do not cost so much, and there are many benefits. Vitamin B and Omega-3 are especially good for schizophrenic persons and vitamin D is good for countering depression, vitamin C is good for intelligence, multivitamins have many different vitamins. You should try these. I always make my coctail ready in the evening so that I can have it with orange juice in the morning.
I take Opti-Men multivitamins, that have more than the RDA of vitamins and minerals, which is good if a person has some potential deficiencies. I tried it out and felt good after taking it regularly, my mood was improved, due to the high B-vitamins probably, and I feel depressed if I don’t take it for a few days when it runs out, so I swear by it now. Good stuff, it has over 2,000 ratings and over 4.5 stars.
Also take 3000 IU of D and 200 mcg of Vitamin K2 (for back pain), and an electrolyte drink that contains roughly half my RDA of calcium, magnesium and sodium, and 1/4 my RDA of potassium.
I take a ton bc I’m trying to clean my body from the invega systems that’s still in it:
Bcomplex
Boron
Iodine
Iron
Magnesium
Omega 3
L-arginine
L-carnitine
L-tyrosine
L-theanine
Calcium
Valerian
Melatonin
A couple others
Fish oil
Vitamin D
Theanine (200mg most days, 400mg once or twice a week)
Ginger as needed for headaches, but I stay away from taking it daily because for me it causes acid reflux
On top of my meds:
Invega 6mg
Ativan .25 mg
The krill oil I tried, it’s nice and smooth compared to fish oil, but too expensive for me most months.
I just take a multivitamin, the store brand of men’s One a Day, with my morning meds. Frankly, I think most supplements are a bunch of hooie (is that how you spell that? lol), unnecessary and unproven in their efficacy. Hell, with the right diet you don’t need any supplements, but I’m not that good about eating vegetables, so I figure I could use a multivitamin.
