may ur dreams come true…

If I had good health and had no cognitive impairment I would like to run a school for local people, teaching laguage and culture. I like stuents as previously I had taught and supervised a lot of students. I have reaped great friendship during my teaching career.

There is no way up I’m convinced.

There is nothing left for me to do but nothing to do at all.

change thee ‘if’ to ‘when’ and maybe i’ll answer the question lol

(maybe a concert pianist)

I’ve read about a lot of people who were successful in what they wanted while they had this illness…

They didn’t wait until they got better… they somehow managed to get what they wanted while they got their life under control.

I wish I would have done that a bit more when I was younger. So now I’m not waiting. Actually, I think my job helped me get better.

That’s what I do, and I love it-and hope you can return to it!!! Can you volunteer just a bit sometimes in a similar capacity?

I am not up to volunteering - not yet.

Best of luck with your job!

I want to be able to feel content without having to pace and rock back and forth. There’s good pacing and bad pacing, and I want to reduce the bad pacing.

I’m still waiting to ‘get better’. By that I mean be completely free of symptoms and the need for meds. In the meantime I’m working full-time, doing volunteer work, and staying busy with my family. My advice? Don’t wait to get busy. Start now. It will aid in your recovery and fill your free time with purposeful activity.
