I want to have a job, that requires manual labor.
A type of job where I don’t have to deal with shitty customers.
Agreed. I did best in back office jobs when I was a young man
I’d like an office job but I struggle with communication. If I lose my SSI I’ll have to take whatever I can get.
A job that offers nap time , snack time and smoke breaks
Professional bed tester.
I know what job I want but it’s got nothing to do with work
I used to be an overachiever, but now a nice cushy job really appeals to me. Like working in a music store, putting strings on guitars, showing people equipment, that sort of thing. I need to do something, but I also need time to dream, and a job like that seems to cover both
I’ve taken a floggen many a year for not working. Maybe when I improve I can play guitar in a hospital or nursing home. My mandolin playing, which I love, is not advanced, since I started this year.
I don’t have a strap for the nylon stringed guitar because there’s no pegs to connect it to.
I want a better acoustic, mine is rough playing.
Funny thing about mandolin is I’m memorizing a lot and I’ve memorized very little classical music or the blues on guitar.
I’ve worked in a nursing home before and only two old ladies didn’t like me. I think that’s pretty good.
I thought the same thing a few times, of volunteering at a nursing home playing guitar for the elderly.
I used to do a music group for the Brain Injury Association that I attended. We had three or four people bring down a guitar, i and another guy, Enjo would take turns playing harmonica and just bash it out for 4 hours every Friday. I was kind of broken at the time, but looking back I have some fun memories of it.
It could really be a good thing for everyone, including you
If I had the motivation and discipline I would be a portrait artist.
