Im thinking with the way my company is heading i need to have a backup plan at least, maybe just might bail ship all together, not sure yet. I like my job enough but the company is really screwing people over with severe labor cuts, union busting, and firing people left and right, mostly people that have been there a long time. I have worked there for 6 years now, so ive been on guard trying not to mess up but i know some days its obviously im mentally unwell and that makes me nervous.

What kind of job do u have. I quit my job because i wanted a different career path not because of mental health. I can do a reschooling program, i am debating between welding or technical drawer (dont know the exact English word).

I remember coming home from the mental hospital and having nothing to do. That really sucked! All I had was guitar and AA meetings. I’ve gotten used to it. Today I’m going to the library when they open at ten. I’m studying Ovid’s Metamorphoses. Sometimes it’s too noisy to read so I write my cousin or draw. I’ll only be there an hour, I’ll come home for lunch and a murder mystery show at twelve noon.

I don’t work anymore but I was in the Navy for 4 years, and then worked a slew of different jobs until about 12 years ago after a difficult psychotic episode I realized after stabilizing that recovery would be my full time job from now on. I receive a pension from the Veterans Affairs Department and SSDI so I’m able to live.

i work as a company representative its easy job no need for high cognition abilities as i suffer from severe cognition impairment but unfortunately i get low salary and they could fire me at anytime

I used to work at the corporate level of a big box tech store but my mental health quickly ruined that for me. Now I work in a bakery where it’s quiet and easy work. I took a $5 pay cut though:(

Im in sales. Office job. Smaller company easy going place. Im good at it so its easy for me. Regular hours, and i dont have to answer calls or emails outside work hours.
Took me multiple jobs to find it though. So try until you find a place/job type that you like.

I’m a part time shop assistant. Get to move around a lot because it’s a big shop. Job is pretty unmonotone, and colleagues are nice.
