I’m currently watching Dahmer and House of the Dragon. Really enjoying both.
Ive been watching dahmer too. And also vikings valhalla. Both are pretty good so far.
I just watch a little news in the morning
I have been watching Rings of Power and House of the Dragon.
I actually really like Rings of Power. A lot of people hate on it. I think it does a great job reuniting the audience with middle earth. Great visuals and immersion. The plot is suspect sometimes though.
House of the Dragon is good too imo. The problem I have with it is how glum everything is. It’s a lot more based on politics and seems less fantasy heavy than Game of Thrones was. Also I think whitewalkers are cooler than dragons tbh.
One TV show I recommend you guys watch is The Wire. It’s from early 2000’s I think. The acting is PHENOMENAL and it has some awesome characters. It takes you into Baltimore and has interactions between drug dealers/gangs and police/detectives. There are some characters you will love and hate (on both sides actually). It has great humor mixed in and some really powerful moments. I like it more than Game of Thrones I think.
I started watching Alaska daily.
Re-watching Monk, finished Better Call Saul
I’ve been watching Asian tv and movies. There’s a streaming service called Viki for this. You can watch things from South Korea, China, Japan, and others.
@cathart1c: That’s cool you’re getting into Rings of Power— been wanting to watch myself but my attention span is too short right now because what little I do have is being occupied by my puppy at the moment . Also, have been meaning to watch The Wire for years now
. Will probs do so when I have more downtime.
@Mars: Monk is great! Want to start Better Call Saul at some point also.
Omg The Wire is brilliant!
“You wanna know what the most dangerous thing is in America?
A n**** with a library card.”
The only things I watch are the news and talk shows. I listen to the radio more than TV
Sooooo good. Brother Mouzone
There are some phenomenal lines. Just unrivaled, imo.
“Ain’t no shame in holding on to grief, as long as you make room for other things too.”
still chipping away at “the sopranos” presently in the last season.;…we only watch a movie once a month or so lately because our schedules (man and wife), have been out of synch.
Dahmer, Derry Girls, and a bunch of reality TV shows.
I’m chipping away at Dahmer. So dark and disturbing…and I’m going through series 10 of Big Brother Canada…it’s like BB with Canadians and I love it as a reality tv junkie. Edit. I have seen this season a while ago and just finished series 9. I need to find more reality tv goodness.
I finished Dahmer yesterday. I’m not watching anything currently.
I don’t think I could watch Dahmer so I feel out of the loop. True crime stuff triggers my harm OCD. Am I missing out?
Avoid. It’s mega creepy and triggering. It’s probably a little too close to reality as it was a wildly strange and disturbing case anyways.
Will do, thanks. 151515
watching one episode of Frasier on my lunch break each night at work! really enjoying it, an all-time classic i think. perfect blend of comedy and drama with excellent, memorable characters. i just love the character of Frasier himself
