What TV/movie character death impacted you the most?

I put on old cartoons all the time.

I love the Ren and Stimpy story.

Are you familiar with the writer and his struggles with Nickelodeon?

Hmm. No I can’t say that I am. They tried to resurrect R and S but it didn’t last long. Does that have something to do with it? Was so long ago I can’t remember.

It’s a long story,

But the writer basically got fed up with being censored by Nickelodeon and totally rage quit,

However, Nickelodeon had his creative rights, so they kept making the show against his wishes.

That’s why the first season of Ren and Stimpy is so much more intense than the other few seasons.

There’s an unaired episode named “The John Liquor Episode” that was supposedly the problem.

I think you can watch it on Youtube.

Had no idea. Yeah I just own the first season and it rocks. I honestly don’t remember much of the subsequent episodes tbh. Nickelodeon kinda sucks now anyways. When I was a kid the shows were awesome but now that I Love Carly junk is sending the wrong message.

Nick Jr is great though. My nephew just loves the shows.

Ol yeller. That was so sad, even though i never saw it.

When Snoopy got run over and killed by that garbage truck in “A Charlie Brown Christmas” I was somewhat surprised and I thought it was an interesting choice by the writers.

I thought the unscripted play was a surprise. It was fine when I was five but then at last you
finally wonder who the hell was directing it? Siskel and Ebert wouldn’t know which appendage to use.
