We’re sleeping at my parents. The kids are asleep. My husband is downstairs talking to Mom and Dad. I came upstairs to not miss my window, but I can’t sleep yet. Just checking the forum and email.

Sometimes I wish I had friends, but I don’t want to have to get dressed for them or go anywhere to hang out with them.

I just want to have friends that are cool with hanging out in our pajamas on my couch making cookies and watching anime.

I could probably be convinced to travel to their couch.

Maybe make the occasional excursion if the mood was right.

But I don’t think friendships start like that, so I’m probably out of luck.

Yeah I get it. Going out is sometimes too much, though I guess I wouldn’t mind going out a few times a month, provided that we didn’t always go to clubs and parties. It would be ideal to have someone like you described. Hopefully when I start college I’ll meet a few pj partiers.
