What thing you bought has lasted the longest?

I don’t have any old stuff. the oldest thing I have is a flat screen tv I bought for my dad one Christmas about 10-15 years ago. he gave it back to me when he bought a new smart tv.

17 years ago, I bought a beautiful linen sheath dress. It was more than I’d ever spend on clothes (which was, like, a whopping $75). It is still fashionable, and even though I don’t fit in it at the moment, I can’t stand to part with it.

My leather jackets last about ten years. I got a faux one that started breaking apart after two, that was the exception. I’m on my fourth one now. My gaming PC from 2007 lasted until 2017.

My classical guitar. My sister bought it for me in 1984. I love it even though I need to get it restrung.
