I would create a poll, but there are so many people could choose from
For me I’d say weight gain, but I could pick so many others

Lately the nausea, and also the difficulties with exercising. Abilify doesnt have a lot of side effects for me though.
Either the weight gain or the restlessness. Or that they take away all ability to enjoy anything.
Like you said… weight gain…
When I was on invega, the lactating sucked. Like that’s not normal…
I’ve gained a lot of weight on Olanzapine. It sucks…
Oculogyric crisis+weight gain are among the top ones I can think of for now.
On my current med Risperidone:
The worst is negative and cognitive symptoms.
Then weight gain.
Choking in able to swallow worst when it’s a long term side affect.
The Weight gain
Then sedation
Then akathisia
Nagative symptoms and weight gain
thought insertion used to bother me, but I learned how to control it …love my med…nothing bad about it…lost all my overweightness, doing hobbies more, loving life…generic prolixin, don’t know how well it works for voices, but it keeps me feeling great…no complaints.
Definitely weight gain.
Muscle stiffness and my tongue sticks out sometimes. I’m also restless and walk around in circles non stop. I’m on haloperidol
Abilify has some great perks compared to other drugs I find. For example it’s not a sedating. But still, I don’t feel like I’m my full self on it. I’ve tried olanzapine, invega and a couple others and on those I was even worse. But yeah I think a lot of my issues that I blame meds for are actually environmental and trauma based. And from substance abuse at a young age.
I blink a lot plus gained a lot of weight.
For me it is the way the typical AP’s make me feel. It’s the most ■■■■■■ up feeling I’ve ever felt. Now I’m on Geodon, and things are much better. They use Haldol to torture mental patients in Russia.
I would say weight gain but I didn’t gain much weight. I don’t want to be overweight very thankful I didn’t gain much.
On clozapine the most annoying side effect I have is sleeping 12 hours a day. I think I might be able to get it down to 10 hours a day. I don’t have much sedation after I wake myself up.
The paranoia is annoying also.
The negative symptoms and the cognitive symptoms. Im 100% these are caused by the meds and not the illness. When im off meds after a year it wears off
Probably minor compared to others, but a dry mouth. Ive constantly got juice or milk in my hand. Negatives probably too - but i blame the condition, not the meds.
The weight gain and being member of the long club.
Same as Jonathan.
Constant hunger, weight gain and sleepiness. I also get tired easily when exercising.
I’d complain about negatives too (lack of drive, lack of pleasure), but they are most probably inherent to the illness. Besides, they have gotten much better in recent years, I should be more grateful.
