Fishing and archery are two great hobbies to have, man. I’d love to learn how to fish

My watches are pretty much it. I’m gonna order another on the 22nd of this month. I have two knives too that qualify, but I can’t post pictures of weapons.

This is the watch I’ll be ordering. It’s a dress watch. I’m still putting it on a nato strap though.

My prized possession is just my phone.

If there was a house fire :fire::fire_engine: so long as I got out with my phone I’d be ok.

In second place I have some autographs (like one of some of Duran Duran 's band members)

A Kodak No. 2 Brownie given to me by my grandmother at age five. It was my first camera. It is one of the few things that survived our housefire and my homeless stint. It means a great deal to me.

I have a folder with all my degrees. If there was a house fire I would probably take the folder and me MacBook with it, and put my iPhone in my pocket if I have the time.

I dont really have a prized possession either. My guitars and equipment I guess.

I have been through this once already. Family and pets are what I need to get out. The rest is just stuff. You miss it, but you can move on without it. People and pets, not so much.

There’s not much to fishing if you just wanna catch fish. I fished everyday a couple years with a childhood friend when I was becoming ill and not hanging out with my regular group. Creek fishing was the best. We’d either wade in the creek and walk miles catching small mouth bass or ride in a canoe and paddle in big holes. I need to get back into it really once I get good tires for my car. Depending on where you fish you can catch a lot. I like creek fishing though cause the action. Fly fishing in creeks or rivers is also fun.

Creek fishing does sound fun. My uncle and cousins are avid fishermen – they went to Montana to camp and fish last summer. I think they did fly fishing and fished in the lakes/ponds. Are creek fishing and fly fishing the same thing?

In fly fishing you use a fly rod. Like in A River Runs Through It the movie. Creek fishing is just fishing in a creek. Combining the two is fun.

ah I gotcha, yeah that does sound fun. I’ve been a little skittish around fishing rods, since I was little and saw my uncle put a hook through his finger. lol I need to grow up and get over that. I’m missing out

Yeah you just gotta be cognizant about where your hook is and the people around you. My biggest worry is snakes. We ran into a ■■■■ ton of them.

Damn yeah, I didn’t even think of things like snakes and snapping turtles

These are 2 of my favourite possessions… a pocket oscilloscope and a multimeter. They arent expensive and could easily by replaced, but they have sentimental value to me.

No lie I picked up a water moccasin when I was psychotic. I broke a stick into a V shape at the top, pinned its head down, and picked it up. My friend was freaking out. They’re usually aggressive, but this one was chill. We’ve messed with a lot of snakes. I fed a fish that was on my line to a water moccasin. Lucky the hook came out and it got to eat it. I wouldn’t worry about snakes at most places. We’d go to some spots though that had a lot of them. Like up north I wouldn’t even think about them. You gotta keep your eye open though.
