What Movie Should I Watch?

I have the television that seems to offer thousands of movies for free . . .

My parents are watching “Squid Game”, if that series is available to you. I caught a part of some of the episodes and it was interesting. I think that it is on netflix.

It’s not a movie though, it’s a series.

The original Dracula with Bela Lugosi!

Sorry. I vote Coppola’s Bram Stoker’s Dracula over the original. It’s just the most visually stunning film… and Gary Oldman is AMAZING.

Godfather 1 or 2

Well smack me around and call me Susan!

(I just figured the original would be less triggering)

Hm… is Coppola’s version triggering, you think, Susan? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I have an artist’s imagination or some such. Images on the screen flash in my head for some time after I watch film.

Hmmm it’s been ages since I’ve seen it. But I recall a lot of blood and sex. Not that those things bother me though. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s Dracula! It’s about a bunch of repressed Victorians! Of course it’s blood and sex! Which works for me, too.

I insist you go and rewatch it, as a Halloween thing! If you can get past Winona Ryder’s and Keanu Reeves’s horrendous English accents, the movie is spectacular.

I’m a pretty big fan of the movie. Maybe I’ll buy it on DVD.

Cool. I need to buy it on DVD. Why haven’t I bought it?? I think I was looking at it, and it didn’t have very good extras. I always love things that show the making of the movie. I’m sure someone will play it over the next few weeks. Otherwise I can just rent it on Amazon.

My Cousin Vinny was funny. Tombstone has lots of action plus great acting. Full metal Jacket was a great movie. I saw where veterans said it was pretty realistic and accurate and it’s not boring. Heartbreak Ridge is a nice little war movie especially if you like Clint Eastwood. And there’s always Jim Carrey movies. His early ones were the best. Ace Ventura, Dumb & Dumber, Mask.

Don’t forget Bruce Almighty!

When I graduated from basic training we watched Full Metal Jacket on our buses little TVs. (The bus that was taking us to tech school.) It was very surreal. I’ll never forget that though.

Great movie. Kubrick had amazing insight into human behavior.
