Like the horror flicks from the thirties with Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff?
I love them. So much atmosphere, and I dig the black and white cinematography.

One of my Christmas presents from my partner this year is 2 books. Dracula and Frankenstein. I do also like watching clsssic horror movies too.
Sometimes, if they’re good. I really liked Alfred Hitchcock’s “Psycho”.
I do. The Black Cat is among my favourites.
I haven’t seen really old horror flicks. Seen a lot of the hitchcock films though. I think the classic horror movies are less disturbing visually so they are ok to watch. The new horror movies are just too gory and disturbing to watch for me. I avoid them.
I think the oldest horror film I’ve seen is Salem’s Lot
Psycho is a great film!
@NotSeksoEmpirico, I recently ordered a Bela Lugosi/Boris Karloff film collection. And The Black Cat is one of the movies in it.
Haha! I used to own this CD.
The older classics don’t trigger me like the modern day horror movies do.
I can understand. The older horror movies relied more on atmosphere and story.
Yeah. I love those movies. I like Vincent price too. I wish they played them on tv more often.
Oh I love Vincent Price! He’s great. Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee are also legendary.
I had all the Jaws movies on dvd i would scare myself by watching the original IT and Childs Play.
Yes! I love the old classics! Lon Chaney Jr is my favorite.
High five fellow classic horror fan!
Lon Chaney Jr is awesome.
I lived for classic horror as a boy and teen growing up…then stephen king arrived…that and Halloween…
Are you sure you don’t mean Lon Chaney Sr? I love his movies from the silent age.
I haven’t seen Lon Chaney Sr but I’ll check him out!
I loved Vincent Price in The House on Haunted Hill.
Haven’t really explored many movies before then.
