I’d recommend abilify first because its average in effectiveness and low in side-affects typically.

My friend takes clozaril and abilify together. I think it works for him.

Try them all and see which one works for you. It’s all down to trial and error on a personal level. One person’s miracle med is another’s poison.

For some people Geodon is the answer. It’s what I am on, and it controls my symptoms with the fewest side effects. It doesn’t make you gain weight. For some people it doesn’t work, but it is worth a try. You can find yourself symptom free and comfortable with your med’s.

I take abilify and lamictal and Zoloft. It seems alright. Sometimes i take wellbutrin as well.

For every person is different, it’s trial and error normally the pdoc start with risperdal

The meds that best worked for me were risperdal and amisulpride. Still taking amisulpride along with low dose of olanzapine

I’m on haldol and it works pretty well for me with little side effects.

Abilify and haldol are my favorites. I like haldol more, but my sex drive is at like a -10. It’s not a problem for me, so I don’t really mind, but if that’s a problem for you haldol may not be the best.

Start off with something safer like Abilify.
There is no such thing as the perfect med.
We are all different.

I don’t have a favorite. I liked abilify the most. Perphenazine was okay. I’m lost as to what works for me so I probably couldn’t tell y’all. Like mentioned above, everyone’s different

Really? Is it a good drug? Are you on Invega Sustenna? Or on the pills? My son died on the oral form. My pdoc is recommending Invega Sustenna shots to me. I’m hesitant because of possible weight gain and effects on creativity. What do you know about it?
