I like the blues but rock and roll is my favorite though I’ve run out of it. I used to like classical music and baroque but now I never listen to it I just play it. You can get to liking any kind of music when you learn it on a musical instrument. Just about any kind.

I’m not into mainstream pop music at all - like top 40.
I think todays mainstream music is kind of bad.

Pretty much all metal, though there are some punk bands I like, such as Bad Religion, NOFX and the earlier years of The Offspring, when they made punk rock songs. Some classic rock, too, and I also used to have a couple Ray Charles CDs. He was damn good at what he did.

I like music with a message about love, education,politics. But as it said, i learned playing instruments from a young age. I like all kinds of music depending in the mood i am in. When i am in a sad mood i listen to uplifting music 
for example. But sometimes i just like instrumental.
