My negative view of the week on ai is that it is a hypocrite. it lets the criminals put faces of real people on illegal images yet chatgpt will not write a dirty limerick and will lecture the user about ethical usage of ai

It will take time for me to even have an opinion.

I remember the days before personal computers and mobile phones. Tech changes society for sure but the impacts take time to come through. I’d imagine the next gen pc games will be so much better with the use of AI tech so looking forward to that!

I started playing computer games without visuals. They were text adventures so I’m sure happy tech has changed in my lifetime…Whether that is good or bad is indifferent to me because I like how computers and phones help me keep in contact with people for example so there’s good and bad with everything.

I think it’s about control and money. I know what Elon Musk said about AI. I think humans are worse, but what do I know…

I don’t know there are definitely some negative aspects to it, but I have to admit that I am having a lot of fun with Bing Image creator since @LevelJ1 hoisted it upon me in his thread. :stuck_out_tongue:

I had a subscription to chatgpt for a bit last december when it came out. It gave you around 50 fast gens per day i think.

Ive read that one day we might be able to make our own movies in realtime in the future or video games being generated as you play.

I would love to make a mountain bike movie of me and my friends but just artificially generated.
