Piano.

I’m with @anon28552576. I enjoy classical and contemporary classical piano. And piano is my favorite instrument. I also play the piano although not very well.

I play the guitar but my favorite instrument would have to be the cello (tablas, duduk, sitar, wooden flute are also preferred instruments I can’t play). I love the sound of the cello and always wanted to learn how to play it but they were expensive, so were lessons and no one was giving them in my area so the music store owner discouraged me from trying to play one. I eventually bought one in my thirties but I quickly sold it after I learned, unlike electric guitar, you can’t be bad at it quietly. The worse it sounds the louder it seemed to sound. I actually got to touch and hear a Stradivarius cello in person at my school.

I don’t want to sound snooty but I love the Chinese instrument the Ehru. It is two stringed. It’s very tricky to learn, but I think it’s beautiful. I loved learning to play it.

I love the violin. I used to play it but slowly got out of it. I may pick it up again.
