I don’t want to can’t do it. I just can’t get myself to shower. I know I stink. Hair is oily gross. Face too.

What is wrong with me?? :sob:

I need to do it soon. Having dinner with people tonight. Hellllllpppppppppp

if you have to bend over under the faucet to wash your hair and rag bath the rest of your body with a soapy wash cloth..and then rinse with the same rag…good luck..showers are really hard.

A shower chair might make it easier.

I get it. When I was on 20mg zyprexa I didn’t care. It’s really hard. I did manage to shower eventually. I don’t dislike showers, it just became a ordeal like everything else on a high dose of meds.

Now that I am on a lower dose I don’t mind, in fact I enjoy feeling clean and fresh. I shower most days now.

Just take off your clothes and do it. Jump in the shower. Force yourself.
