What is the first concert you've been to?

I think I was about 15 years old. I went to see the group Petra. I loved it but now I just roll my eyes.

12-13, state faire, free concert, Weird Al Yankovic.

Still one of the most fun I’ve had at a show, he was entertaining.

Sharon, Lois & Bram as a young kid. Skinnamarink-a-doo ya’ll! :elephant:

Then my parents dragged me to the Smothers Brothers and the Moody Blues.

My first real concert was Marilyn Manson in 1996 at 14.

Skipped school on Nov 11, 2002 to go to Chicago at age 17 to see Guns n.Roses. my now husband had to drive us the 4 hours to, hold me in my seat cause I wanted to leap from the nosebleeds and ravage Axl Rose, and then drive us home the 4 hours. We got home at 6am, I had to be to work at 7am, work till noon, then go to high school for the rest if the day. Fun fact, exactly one year later our oldest was born, lol.

My first concert was a Mariah Carey concert in Milan (Italy) in 2016. It was one of the most beatiful days of my life. I have also been to a concert of her in Madrid in 2018 and another concert of her in June (5 months ago) in Barcelona.

I’ve no idea and I’ve seen some serious concerts over my 49 years. Sadly I have old man mind and it’s all a bit hazy…I’d imagine it’d be either 70’s rock or 80’s alternative and the later would be more likely…

You must really like Mariah.

She’s a great singer, she can really hit those high notes.

Ariana Grande has been compared to her, in terms of hitting the same high notes.

Ooh im ashamed. A horrible boyband, Boyzone, when i was…12 or 13?? My 2 friends were huge fans and i joined them. I remember mainly observing things and thinking “wth are you all doing? Why???”. All these screaming and crying girls. I was the only one who couldnt sing their songs. They had board carton signs with things like “we love you boys”. The other girls made a teddy bear with a balloon with “love you” or so written on it. Threw it on the stage. Their favourite band member touched the balloon…they were hysterical, got back the balloon after the concert and fought all the ride back who could have the balloon because “OMG he touched it!!”. I quietly sat in between, in mild shock, feeling different.

Lol, yeah, we successfully got pregnant on my 18th bday after 3 miscarriages, so it was a blessing. So Kalick and I are exactly 18 years and 9 months apart in age, only cause I was tboned and sent into preterm labor by 3 weeks, he was due Thanksgiving.

Was it 95?

I was supposed to go to a show in that tour, but I was grounded and my dad sold the tickets. I’m still burnt up about it!
