i wana know because i have been eating at the same time everyday before taking my meds and i wonder what would happen if i skipped a meal

You burn through your Geodon faster and wind up being unstable for part of the day. Take it with a meal. Trust me on this.

They tell you to take meds with food so the absorption is better, also taking straight pills is hard on your stomach and might make you throw up, that has happened to me a few times.

If you take it on an empty stomach, it makes you really sleepy and dizzy, then it leaves your system and you have worse symptoms until your next dose. I don’t recommend it.

When I took Geodon on an empty stomach I always felt hungry. I wanted to eat. It’s good to get a good 500 calorie meal with your Geodon.

I take my morning dose on an empty stomach and have no problems.

Seroquel XR is the opposite. Your supposed to take that on an empty stomach.

It isn’t metabolized as effectively. It doesn’t work like it should and you won’t get the full therapeutic benefit.

what if I ate a meal like 2-3 hours before I am gonna take it so i only eat like 300 calories right when I am about to take it
300 calories really isn’t enough. I would just take my pill two hours earlier, when I ate my big meal.

Yeah. And it’s hell on your family if you take it in the morning on an empty stomach and then find yourself bouncing off the walls at home in the evening. Things went much better when I took it with my evening meal.

I take it in the morning and at night. I take my evening dose right after dinner but I have never eaten breakfast. It made me sleepy when I first started taking it in the morning but I eventually got used to it. If I don’t take it in the morning I get psychotic before 3 or 4 pm so it still works on an empty stomach.
The Geodon won’t work as well. You will be psychotic. I took Geodon for years without food and wondered why I was still psychotic. It was because I wasn’t taking the pills with food. Take Geodon with food.

The Geodon doesn’t work as well, or at all, if you don’t eat with it.
I think it goes through ur system faster and cos it has a short half life u might have symptoms before ur next dose
