has anyone done that. i dont think i will take medicine again but i wanna know just incase. i only have like 1 month of risperidone. i have a lot of haldol but im scared to take it. i have no dr she moved away. will they ask me questions? will they lock me up? will they refill my medicine? will the refill it for only a week or two? anyone know?

emercency physician can prescribe meds, but if you are certifiable which you dont seem to be they may lock you in a ward
ive been given up to 6 months prescription but not at emergency department.
risperdal you can start taking 2 mg

i dont think id be able to tell them anything without them maybe locking me up. and if i tell them nothing thats going on im afraid they might lock me up too.

try taking 2 mg of the risperdal a day until you feel stable enough to talk to physician
idk if that will work cause i took haldol for about a year or a little more without a dr and just my GP just autorefilling it and i couldnt bring myself to talk to a new dr. im afraid if i start taking it and cant get to a dr i will have to withdraw and it will be worse

you seem to be relapsing anyway. only other thing is to take haldol prn and hope it buys you some time.
maybe i could possible get a dr far away through virtual and would feel less scared then being in a room talking. but it is almost impossible for me to speak.

why are you against locked in ward, ya it sucks in there, but its safe
i cant. even tho im pretty sure i died and am in an alternate dimention, i have pets, and even if they are pets from a different dimention they still need taken care of. and there is no one who can do it but me.

you need to stabilize yourself on the meds you have by taking prescribed dose for a few weeks then getting more

im seriously considering it but idk idk if i can get more. idk if i can do it. ill go count the risperdone and see how long i could take it for before i have to start weaning it

you will be able to get more. i have been on resperdal and invega, yes it does cause worse relapse. psychiatry doesnt care because they want all szs on meds with zero tolerance. take the meds is best rational choice in this game

i have 90 - 1 mg pills of risperdal. its writen as 1mg 3 times a day.

if thats what dr says thats what you should do, but if you take 2 mg a day at one time to start then go to 3mg if you need it would be pretty standard

Dude it’s worth a shot. Even if they do lock you up it’ll be worth it trust me. You’ll get some free meds out of it
