Not many people visit me, but I was expecting a few guests today, but I got a call that they are not able to come, they had celebrated the midsummer and they were still sleeping with their hangover in one island in eastern Finland, well I suppose I need to be just alone then …

We celebrate Midsummer in Sweden too but I am an Ozi now.
In Sweden they have the dance around the Midsummer pole and sing and eat great food and fresh potatoes and shots etc
The best potato I ever had was eaten almost immediately.
Straight from soil to saucepan to our hands and we ate them without plate.
Just boiled with salt.
Amazing!!!
