It was going to come out in the USA and a modified version was under trial long ago. There is no news on it lately. People may desire KARXT and other medications, but this is the real game changer should it come out in the US.
In terms of efficacy, it is the closest to Clozapine with minimal side effects apart from increased prolactin. I take it in a different country- not the US- and Abilify lowers prolactin for me, because of which I still have sex drive.
Amisulpride being developed in the US is a modified version. The maximum dose would be 150 mgs when it currently is 800 mgs. So, if you are effectively at a dose of 75 mgs with this new drug, then the chances of prolactin increasing decreases.
Lastly, there are prolactin lowering drugs you can try.
Thanks for the recommendations deez but i want to wait and listen to the expert (no offense). but i really dont want to be taken off this med bc it helps me a lot. Idk if i could come off of it even if i tried anyway (and i did try)
They don’t know or don’t care. Search “prolactin reducing medications” in google.
There is some chance of going in mania (1-2 percent) with them, but are you going to give up on Amisulpride for that 2 percent chance? The alternative may be Clozapine.

Forget the doctors, do your own research. If I were relying on doctors, I would be unwell and 300 pounds. I used my brain, I am symptom free. I trade stocks. I work on a bussiness. I exercise daily. I socialize once a week. I am doing well. It is certainly not because of the doctors.
